Questions About CBD and the Endocannabinoid System
What is the Endocannabinoid System (ECS)?
The Endogenous Cannabinoid System also known as the Endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a system of cell receptors and corresponding molecules throughout the body. While this system performs many different tasks depending on the location, it has one primary goal which is homeostasis or to maintain balance within the body no matter the exterior environment.

What are the differences between Isolate and full spectrum CBD oil?
Full Spectrum oil products contain everything the cannabis or hemp plant contains. This means they contain CBD, flavanoids, natural fatty acids, terpenes and other cannabinoids such as CBG, CBC and trace amounts of THC. Each component individually has their own therapeutic value but these components are synergistic and together they accomplish more than the individual component; often referred to as the Entourage Effect.
CBD Isolate means that everything contained within the hemp plant has been extracted out, except the single CBD Cannabinoid. This means that a CBD isolate containing only CBD does not contain and of the very beneficial terpenes, fatty acids or any the other cannabinoids such as CBC, CBG and the trace amount of THC. Isolate does not offer the synergistic benefits that a full or broad spectrum oil offers.

Common Misconceptions
Will Paws Effect CBD products get my pet high?
Absolutely not! Paws Effect has extracted out the THC to such low levels there will be no psychoactive response.

There are companies in the marketplace stating that the only safe products for pets is 99+% pure CBD isolate.
Paws Effect extracts out almost all of the THC in it's oil. We leave a minute amount in our oil, so little that there is no chance for a psychedelic effect. CBD works well as a single component, but it is widely understood that when combined with the other cannabinoids such as CBC, CBG, terpenes and minute amounts of THC the full potential of benefits can be realized.

Administering Paws Effect Products
Why does Paws Effect use spray applicators vs. droppers?
We studied the marketplace and discovered that a majority of pet owners are not applying the oil directly into their pets mouth, but rather on the food.
The most recurring comments were "My dog fights me or runs away when I approach with the dropper,
The oil ends up spilling, It's messy, not sure about the accuracy of the dropper, It gets hard to fill the dropper when the level of oil in the bottle gets low."
Paws Effect utilizes a calibrated spray applicator that administers the same amount with each pump, without spillage or waste. We suggest putting the oil directly into the animals mouth if they allow, spray directly onto the pets food or on a treat. The positive feedback on the spray applicator as well as the benefits of the oil have been tremendous.
